Crash after Java update

Hello everyone.

I installed SweetHome3d 2.3 a few days ago. Everything was just fine. After Java software update program started to crash with no errors, warnings, exceptions etc. in the following situation:
- start the program;
- hide 3d view panel by clicking on the arrow on separator (program could crash, but not every time);
- then hide the furniture panel by clicking on the arrow on separator - program crashes every time.

I updated graphic drivers to the latest version, but it did not solve the problem.

Here is my system description:
- Windows Vista 32;
- ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO (8.712.0.0 2010-03-02);
- Java 1.6 update 19 (build 1.6.0_19-b04).

Can anyone help me to solve the problem?
Thank you very much in advance.

Re: Crash after Java update

You may have the same problem as the one described in this bug. sad

Could you hide the navigation arrows with preferences and confirm whether it still crashes or not?

Re: Crash after Java update

First, thank you for reply.

I hide 3d navigation arrows (Preferences dialog) and after that hiding 3d panel and furniture panel goes without any problems. When I select to show the 3d navigation arrows, program crashes again. So, I can solve the problem that way, but I think this is a kind of a bug :(

And one more thing - when I start the program dialog box appears, saying that "Program requested to go online. Ok | Cancel" If I select "Cancel" program will not start. I did not get that message before. What if I do not have an Internet connection?
I know that the question is not about 3d stuff, but still ...

Re: Crash after Java update

I have the same problem on Fedora 12. The solution is the same - hide 3d navigation arrows via preferences dialog.

Re: Crash after Java update

Could you post the Java crash report you got (it's a file named hs_err_pid####.log)?
This should help Java 3D team to fix this bug.
