Objects furnure disappeared on project

In a project some objects of furniture are visualized in 3D, by a certain moment in then, they are visualized as solid 3D white.

Fix & suggestion are very appreciated!

Sorry, my english is very bad! ;-)

Re: Objects furnure disappeared on project

Sweet Home 3D must run out of memory, because the white box is used only during the loading of the 3D model (I would be nice that Sweet Home 3D warns you but I didn't program that yet).
Save your home and relaunch Sweet Home 3D. If the white boxes still appear after you open your home, you use too much furniture, but there's still a solution to increase the memory granted to Sweet Home 3D.

Download SweetHome3D-xxx.jar at https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php...568&package_id=245525 , and run the command:

java -Xmx1024m -jar /path/to/SweetHome3D-xxx.jar

where "1024" is the maximum amount of memory in MB the program will take and "/path/to/SweetHome3D-xxx.jar" the path of the "SweetHome3D-xxx.jar" file you downloaded. For you information, this value is 384 MB in version 1.7.

This is not very user friendly, but it's an immediate workaround that works.

Re: Objects furnure disappeared on project

Thanks Emmanuel.

I have resolved departing from a new project and watching out for not to use keyboard short-cut. There are in the project more than 60 furniture objects, and everything it works well.

An only question: does a wiever exist for the files 3DS?

Still thanks and good job, Nello.

No viewer for SH3D (I guess that what you mean) exists yet but a request was posted about that at https://sourceforge.net/tracker2/index.php?fu...id=152568&atid=784668

Feel free to give more details in the request about what you would like, in what situation you would like to use it, on what kind of server you expect to run it...
